About this Event
Take a deep breath and step into the sparkling, shimmering light of Venice. Join the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s team of educators for a special tour of the exhibition Sargent, Whistler, and Venetian Glass: American Artists and the Magic of Murano. Learn more about Venetian glass techniques and the artists it inspired. Discuss color, line, and whimsy. Are these extravagant artworks too much or just enough? This in-person workshop is designed for educators of all grade levels and disciplines.
Free | Note: This program may be held virtually pending evolving Smithsonian in-person event guidance. Additional details will be emailed to you the week prior to the event.
