Skill level: Great for beginners
Class Description: Learn the stumpwork technique of buttonholing around wire to make charming, three-dimensional bows for jewelry in this class. Use silk thread and long and short stitches to fill the bow then add a beautiful Swarovski crystal heart to create stud or dangling earrings. The kit also allows for a brooch or pendant option and both blue and yellow colorways come in the kit.
Kit includes silk thread, cake wire, Swarovski crystals, hard wire, and muslin.
Supplies: All materials will be provided to you in class.

About the Educator: Tiffany Chin is a graphic designer, embroidery designer and instructor. Prior to joining SNAD, Tiffany has been working as a freelance graphic designer for various design firms and corporations, from Chronicle Books to Banana Republic. Tiffany received her BFA degree in Graphic Design in Art Center College of Design in Pasadena in 2014. In 2019, Tiffany took classes in SNAD, including the CSP Program in Metalwork, and she does graphic design, and instructs while training to become an embroidery artist.

Cancellation policy: SNAD will refund tuition less a $25 processing fee up to 3 days (72 hours) prior to class start time. No refunds for cancellations with less than 3 days notification before class start time.
San Francisco School of Needlework & Design (SFSNAD) follows the City and County of San Francisco Department of Public Health's guidelines to reduce the risk of COVID-19. SFSNAD requires a valid ID and proof of vaccination in order to enter this space and participate in onsite, in-person courses and classes.
