About this Event
Oakland County is providing free access to Savi, a social impact startup that offers student debt assistance and education to student loan borrowers. This service is free for one year to any Oakland County resident or Oakland County Government employee seeking assistance to manage college debt and get on a path to loan forgiveness.
April is Financial Literacy Month, and on April 2nd, Savi's Chief Borrower Advocate, Lindsay Clark, will visit Oakland County to host a live, in-person session with Oakland County residents and employees. Please register for this in-person event to learn:
- The latest student loan policy updates under the new administration and how they affect you
- How these updates impact income-driven repayment and forgiveness programs
- How to manage finances and planning for retirement while dealing with your student loans
- Learn how you can get started with the free Savi tool
Savi will be available for 1:1 sessions starting at 5:30 pm ET, 30 minutes before the event begins and again after the session concludes, until 7:30 pm ET.
