About Jennifer Basile: Jennifer A. Basile was born and raised in New York. She holds a B.F.A from University of Miami and an M.F.A from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She is a Professor of Printmaking, Painting, and Drawing at Miami-Dade College Kendall Campus. Jennifer has been a Floridian for over 20 years and has been making art solely focused on the landscape. Her work is in the collection of the Museum of Art and Design Freedom Tower, The Tucson Museum of Art, and the Bernice Steinbaum Collection. Her work is currently represented by LnS GALLERY in Miami Florida.
About on The Underline:The Underline will feature a 10-mile outdoor art gallery that will engage and connect us to our creative community and each other. Aligning with The Underline’s core values of inclusivity, connectivity, and fun, the public art program will include privately and publicly-funded temporary and permanent artworks from established and emerging local and international artists alike.
?Getting there: Take Metrorail to the Brickell Metrorail station, exit north and walk to The Oolite Room. Walk or bike (bike racks on The Underline as SW 1st Avenue and SW 9th Street) to the Oolite room. If you drive, please use nearby public parking lots.
?? Accessibility: The Underline is fully wheelchair accessible.
