In-Person Event: Dating Mixer "Coffee" Edition for Singles in DC (30 - 55)

If you are someone who is comfortable in your singleness, who has been doing the introspective work to be the best version of yourself, and who is now ready to step back out there, then this event is FOR YOU!

Who Should Attend:

~This Dating Mixer Event is for people/professionals who are genuinely single (situationships, its complicated's, and or married people need not attend).

~People who have done and who are doing the work to be their best, whole self and who are emotionally ready and open to meet a potential love/friend of interest.

~People who will honor the $15.00 minimum (those who are prepared to spend $15.00 at minimum on food\drinks.)

~Men who are seeking to date women, or women who are seeking to date men.

~Men and women between the ages of 30 - 55 (age range is suggestive not a requirement).

During the Dating Mixer event there will be intentional moments for attendees to peel the onion so to speak to get to know one another beyond the surface.

Ididos Coffee and Social DC Idido's Coffee & Social is a neighborhood coffee shop, serving specialty coffee, fresh food and baked goods. With its first location in Arlington, VA and recently opening the second location in DC's Brightwood neighborhood. We hope to expand more and be a favored place for people to work, dine and gather. Our main missions are community and service.

This event is located on (located near the Metro's Red Line, Fort Totten Metro Station ).

Car: limited metered and residential parking on the street

Ride Share: Lyft, Uber (Recommended)

Dress Code: Dress for comfort but nice

Agenda:

12:30pm - 1:30pm -Arrival and check-in. Order food, and drinks & register on-site (Highly recommended as the format of the event makes it challenging to order food outside of this time slot)*2 breaks built into the event; great for refilling your drink order.

1:30pm - 2:00pm: Welcome and Instructions for Speed Dating

2:00pm - 2:30pm: Ice Breaker

2:30pm -4:00pm: Speed-Dating (10-13 '7 -minute' rotations)

4:00pm - 4:30pm: Friendly competition through games (potential prizes/cash offered)

You will be notified within 24 hour post event to share whether or not you were matched via the email provided at registration. *What is a match? When each attendee identifies on a connection card one another in the same category of interest).

If this event sounds like your type of event and something you would genuinely enjoy, please RSVP! For those who do not go anywhere without a friend, I recommend you find the courage to attend this event solo. It can get weird, especially if you and your friend make a connection with the same person. I want sisterhoods and brotherhoods to remain :-)!
