Please note
This course will be delivered in-person at the newly established Digital Imaging Lab at the Henry Royce Institute in Manchester, UK.
In order to be eligible to attend this course, you must have a working knowledge of CT theory and Avizo software for image analysis.
This course is free for only the University of Manchester staff and students.
Course Structure
This course will look at the advanced analysis methods for characterising pores and particles within a matrix material:
- Good measurement practice
- Particle shape measurements
- Boundary separation
- Data filtering
- Point cloud calculation and visualisation
- Analysis visualisation
- Causes of data variation and minimisation
- Production of videos in Avizo
