IN PERSON: Co-teaching as a tool to enhance teacher-child interactions

Adult-child interactions are the foundation for learning and development. Teachers must be intentional with these interactions. Co-teaching allows us to reflect on our practices, then brainstorm, problem solve and support each other to identify goals and practices for effective teacher-child interactions. This session will focus on identifying the goals of teacher-child interactions (social skills, behavior management, academic skills), and implementing strategies for systematic reflection and analysis to accomplish these goals.
