Escape to the streets of Thailand as we create one of the most famous Thai classics, Pad Thai!
In this fun and hands-on class, you will be guided step-by-step in recreating this Thai classic known for its diverse flavor profile of sweet, salty, sour and spicy. You will learn basic knife skills and how to build the flavor profile of an authentic Pad Thai sauce from scratch! Once you have created your masterpiece, you will then plate, garnish and devour your creations with your fellow foodies in class. You will also gain insight on how to source fresh, seasonal ingredients and special spices in order to recreate the perfect Pad Thai again at home.
All you need to bring to this class is your curiosity and appetite!
This class is BYOB - bring your favorite beer, wine, and champagne! Plan to arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to park and check in. The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Groups of 2 or 3 may be asked to share their station with other participants.
To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes. Classes are intended for adults 18+.

Groups of 2 or 3 may be asked to share their station with other participants. Shared SF street parking in the evenings and weekends is easily available. There is also a paid parking lot on Oak Grove (an alley across the street from SHARED) for $8/day. SHARED is five blocks from Powell Montgomery Bart and three blocks from CalTrain. To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes. Classes are intended for adults 18+
