Build a strong acting foundation in our 5-day in-person dramatic arts camp!
Due to COVID-19, space is limited to just 12 participants!
Hone your acting chops in a fun, safe and supportive environment in Character Camp, an online acting program with amazing On-Camera, Voice-Over and Broadway faculty!
In our straight acting program, campers will explore four different areas of performance: stage acting, film, television and voice-over. Learn how to make bold and interesting character choices and deepen performance skills through a series of workshops and rehearsals. Campers will learn to use their physicality and intellect to create compelling characters!

Focus of Camp:
- Sitcom Acting: Actors will learn how to break down a comedy script beat by beat, learn how to identify comedic clues within the text and work on bringing out the funny in sitcom scenes.
- Voice-Over: Learn how to create living, breathing characters for cartoons and animated feature films, commercials, and radio spots!
- Stage Combat: Learn how to throw a punch that will only look like it hurts! Social distancing rules will be in place!
- Physicality: Explore how movement can bring characters to life!
- Shakespeare: Learn how to speak in iambic pentameter, and how to decode & perform Shakepeare’s complicated language!
- Dialect Coaching: Learn how to speak like you’re from New York, the Midwest, and the UK!
Final Showcase
Due to COVID-19, we will either be filming our final showcase and sending a video link to loved ones after camp wraps, or we will livestream it. Students will showcase their scenes and the new skills they learned throughout the week.
