Art in the Time of Unbearable Crisis, Women Writers Respond to the Call -- Readings from the anthology by the same title and a community discussion about how creativity can be a teacher and a soother during painful life passages. Art in the Time of Unbearable Crisis is a poignant collection of essays, poetry, and art from She Writes Press authors to showcase how creativity supports us all to thrive, especially when the world is in crisis.
How do people use their art, especially now that we have been hit with crisis upon crisis? Offering an afternoon for people to gather for a conversation to share what they have done and are doing as they struggle with any given crisis. Being in community could help us all move forward.
