Come join our in-person support group for BIPOC individuals at Little Pot in Mid-City - a safe space to connect, share, and heal together!Welcome to Insula Collective's Support Groups, tailored for the BIPOC community. BIPOC stands for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, recognizing and honoring the diverse ethnic backgrounds that make up our community. Our support groups are designed as intimate, 1.5-hour sessions dedicated to fostering a safe and inclusive space for individuals of color to share, connect, and support one another. Please note, this is not a pottery class. Come on down, enjoy the space, maybe sign up for a class or get info on POT offerings but this is a support group in the space rather than a class.
Please allow yourself 15 minutes to find parking, arrive, and settle in. There is a 10 minute grace period. Please come on time. We will begin at 4pm. Things do happen but it can be disruptive to stop the flow of convo to integrate you into the discussion.
PLEASE NOTE: We have moved from a pay-what-you-can donation model to sliding scale in order to be able to grow and continue. Things happen but registering for a group and not showing up takes a potential spot away from someone else. Starting August 1st if you do not cancel your rsvp or inform us that you cannot attend and need a refund YOU WILL BE CHARGED BASED ON THE TIER YOU PURCHASED and refunds will not be permitted. Your donation will go towards a donation to the space, Junior High, expenses, and compensation for the facilitator. Check out how you can request a refund on Eventbrite HERE .
