Every Monday at 7:00PM, join us for a drop in peer support group aimed at reducing addictions and addictive behaviours. This group is free and drop in.
Intended for people struggling to overcome addictive behaviours, substances and/or activities.
This peer support group is a harm reduction or abstinence based self help, peer support group aimed towards teaching those struggling with addictive behaviours, substances, and activities different tools, strategies and techniques to support you on your path to recovery.
The sessions consist of introductions and check ins, a discussion of current struggles within the group and support/experience from the group of peers, a teaching discussion on a specific tool or strategy headed by a certified facilitator, and concluded with takeaways from the weeks session.
The room is open 30 minutes before and everyone is encouraged to arrive early to socialize and connect with one another.
