About this Event
Join Board-Certified Art Therapist Katherine Pedrick for a drop-in art making workshop to foster creative self-expression, personal strengths, and wellbeing. Inspired by the Portrait Gallery’s exhibition Forces of Nature: Voices that Shaped Environmentalism, participants will create their own “tree of strength” self-portrait that celebrates their personal qualities, values, and support system. This workshop is for all ages and no previous art making experience is required.
This is a drop-in program that will take place in the Portrait Gallery Education Center. Seating is first come, first serve. Facilitator will come around as is needed and possible.
The Portrait Gallery strives to provide programs that are accessible to all visitors. If you have questions about the accessibility of this program, or if you would like to request real-time captioning (CART), sign language interpretation, or any other accommodations, please contact [email protected]. Two weeks' advance notice is appreciated for requesting accommodations.
