'In Flagrante Delicto' explores themes of Love and Longing prevalent in Italian Madrigals and folk music of the Renaissance. Vox Obscura delves into a wide variety of music, sacred and secular, including the complex chromaticism of Carlo Gesualdo, the brilliance of Claudio Monteverdi, the improvisatory spirit (Sprezzatura) of Italian Madrigals, and other surprises. Join us in the beautiful acoustics of Anaheim First Presbyterian Church for this unique concert experience. Vox Obscura unites skilled vocalists in Southern California to perform cultivated concerts inspired by timeless sacred, folk, and art repertoire from a wide variety of early music traditions.
