About this Event
Join us from 6.30 p.m. when we are thrilled to welcome at 7 pm Richard Dunwoody, the three-time Champion Jockey and now motivational speaker, who is coming to talk to us about his career in National Hunt racing, winning the King George VI Chase four times (twice on Desert Orchid), the Grand National twice, the Cheltenham Gold Cup Cup and the Champion Hurdle. As if that wasn't enough he then trekked to the South Pole to raise money for charity, rode the Mongol Derby, and walked 2000 miles across the whole of Japan, and so much more!
The evening will take the form of an illustrated interview with Sara Brown and there will be copies of Richard's books to buy. The Dog and Fox has kindly given us our own bar which will be open for you to order drinks and food before and after the talk, and there will be tables where we can drink and dine before or after the talk.
We are raising money for the Wimbledon and Putney Commons Conservators.
