Marlee Matlin, one of the most dynamic and inspiring keynote speakers in the world, takes audiences through the highs and lows of her Hollywood career and journeys as an activist. Ms. Matlin received worldwide critical acclaim for her film debut in Paramount Pictures’ Children of a Lesser God, for which she received the Academy Award for Best Actress. She has also starred in numerous television projects, including Seinfeld, The West Wing, Law and Order: SVU, The L Word, ABC’s Dancing with The Stars, and Quantico. In 2022, Ms. Matlin made her directing debut with the Fox TV anthology drama, Accused and her film CODA won three Academy Awards, including Best Picture. Ms. Matlin has also penned three novels for children, as well as her New York Times best- selling autobiography, I’ll Scream Later.Join us as Ms. Matlin talks about her life and career with Jason Loewith, Artistic Director at Olney Theatre Center.
