Brookfield Properties are proud to welcome our Pride 2022 Artist Ashton Attzs and panel guests as we discuss creating queer spaces within the commercial and property sector.
Guests will be invited to view Attzs pop-up exhibition, which features the Brookfield Properties commission 'Everyday is Ours' , at 100 Bishopsgate followed by Coffee and light snacks before the panel talk begins at 12:30pm
is a 24 year old UK-based painter and illustrator. Ashton’s distinctive and charming characterful people that populate the majority of their paintings and illustrations are representative and inclusive of the endless identities and diverse expressions of the everyday person. Their unique world-building in popping bright hues creates a utopia, where everyone and anyone can step inside to dreamy landscapes and cheerful situations. Ashton’s art covers a range of topics from LGBTQ+ advocacy, visibility, unity, positivity, music and mental health. Their art seeks to empower LGBTQ+ people and people of colour on a global scale where they share their artworks publicly in a variety of ways. To date, Ashton has been commissioned by the likes of Instagram, Tate, Tottenham Hotspur FC and Universal Music to name but a few. In 201 8, Attzs won the coveted Evening Standard Art Prize: for their painting of transgender swimmers, “Don’t Stay In Ya Lane”.

is an entrepreneur focussing on arts sector business with economic longevity and positive social impact. Great interest in how arts businesses can do good, give people purpose and be profitable. Built and run Artiq, a London-based international art agency. Keen supporter of LGBTQ+ community through charity art initiatives like Queer Frontiers.
is Vice President of Marketing at Brookfield Properties and is currently responsible for Marketing and Communications, including Arts and placemaking activities, for the European office business. She joined Brookfield in 2014 and has held various roles in the Marketing and Arts & Events groups including the redevelopment of Brookfield Place New York, Manhattan West and focused marketing initiatives across North America and Europe. Caitlin is also the co-founder of the Brookfield LGBTQ+ Pride Network. Prior to joining Brookfield, Caitlin spent time in Los Angeles and New York with the Creative Artist Agency.
Brookfield Cares continues to support AKT through our Pride 2022 charitable donation. AKT assist young people into safe homes and employment, education or training, in a welcoming and open environment that celebrates lgbtq+ identities.
