About this Event
Turi King’s expertise areas are ancient/forensic DNA research and public engagement. Formerly Professor of Genetics and Public Engagement at the University of Leicester, she has joined the University of Bath as the Director of the Milner Centre for Evolution.
She is probably best known for having led the identification of the remains of King Richard III and as co-presenter of BBC DNA Family Secrets with Stacey Dooley.
All ages welcome, brilliant for 12+

Doors will open 15 minutes before the start time for each talk and screening.
Accessability
The entrance to the Assembly Rooms has step free access. This event takes place on the ground floor which has level access.
There are disabled toilets and baby changing facilities.
Guide dogs and assistance dogs are allowed in the Assembly Rooms.
Disabled car parking
Bath and North East Somerset Council operates a Blue Badge scheme for disabled car users. They also recognise disabled permits issued by other counties.
The nearest Blue Badge parking is on Bennett Street, next to the Assembly Rooms.
Designated easy access parking bays are also available for Blue Badge holders in most city-centre car parks. The nearest short-stay car park with disabled parking is a 10 minute walk away on Charlotte Street, BA1 2NE.
