I'll be chatting to Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh Deputy Director of Science (Research) and author of World of Plants: Stories of Survival, Dr Alex Davey.
We'll be taking a green-fingered look at some incredible and insightful stories about the hope and resilience we can all find in the power of plants, as a tribute to those that survived the bombings of Nagasaki and Hiroshima 80 years ago.
This free event on Friday 14th November, from 1-2pm at the university campus, will mark the end of the first UK display of the annual global exhibition from the Nagasaki National Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims (@nagasaki.kinenkan) and it will include an opportunity for creative remembrance.
