IN CONTACT PERFORM//PRINT WITH ELIZABETH TOMOSA chance to see live performance-art in the open air.
Elizabeth will be large-scale screen-printing on her unique machine with plant-based inks.
The performance deals with Tomos’ own journey through climate grief and exploration of her ancestral connections to land.
Root systems become a metaphor for connection and belonging, a network that links us to the more than human world, from the cosmos to the hidden underworld beneath our feet
This is a 360° performance, you are invited to move around the circle and watch the prints as they grow.
Seats and floor cushions are availabke for those who prefer to sit and observe.
The walled garden will be accesible from 6pm please feel free to bring a picnic / BYOB. The performance begins at 7pm and lasts approx 90 mins.
Children are welcome to attend but please supervise them at all times. The print machine can be dangerous and tempting to small fingers so the performance area is off limits.
We will perform outside weather permitting, the machine cannot work in the wet so if need be we will transfer indoors where possible. Please dress appropriately for a rural evening setting (ie layers and boots).
If you would like to discuss any access needs please give Tamsyn a call or text on 07795 810861.
THIS PROJECT IS BACKED BY SOL HAVEN AND SUPPORTED BY: NORTHAMPTONSHIRE CREATIVE CLIMATE ACTION FUND VIA NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION. THE PRINT MACHINE IS ALSO PART-SUPPORTED BY ARTS COUNCIL ENGLAND.
