Crowns” is a celebrated gospel musical by Regina Taylor, adapted from Crowns: Portraits of Black Women in Church Hats. It follows Yolanda, a young woman from Brooklyn, who journeys South and discovers the strength, heritage, and spiritual legacy of Black women, as expressed through their Sunday hats. Blending gospel music, dance, and storytelling, “Crowns” is a joyful testament to identity, faith, and the beauty of tradition.In Celebration of Black History Month!!
