Course Description
This course is designed to help agents acquire an in-depth understanding of advanced real estate investment topics to make them more effective their careers while adhering to License Laws and real estate ethics. The course is also designed to help participants hone their analytical skills as they relate to their investor clients and other industry partners.
Course Objectives: At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to:
1. Discuss the winning formula for a real estate investor – for themselves as a real estate agent or when working with an investor client;
2. Explain and discuss rehab investment strategies;
3. Discuss and explain corporate entities – liability and financial issues of real estate investing for the agent and client;
4. Discuss the tax implications of real estate purchases and sales;
5. Advanced real estate finance – financial measurements for the real estate investor – cash-on cash return, return on investment, etc.;
6. Understand the role of the agent’s real estate Broker when investing in real estate as an agent;
7. Comprehend License Laws in Georgia regarding Agent as Principal as well as legal, ethical and compliant matters when writing a contract for an investment property;
8. Discuss the characteristics of a “deal maker” – 16 characteristics you should know; and
9. Explain and discuss the psychology of real estate investment.

It will not be a requirement, buy highly recommended since most of the teaching materials is in the book.
