In Bloom is a concert series hosted by Korzo and curated by Hague-based composer Lise Morrison. She curates and presents a showcase of young musicians, projects, performers and makers, featuring works developed by her peers from the music and art scene of The Hague. This edition brings together three experimental acts who converse in their work with speakers, or modular synthesisers, other performers, or film (amongst other things) - leading to adventurous and surprising soundscapes, greater than the sum of the two parts, shifting and expanding the idea of the traditional music duet.

Arefeh Hekmatpanah - 'Offering' for performer and feedback
Offering is an audio feedback piece for a solo performer, made and performed by the Iranian composer Arefeh Hekmatpanah. She transforms the high pitched feedback sounds into a musical experience by creating a wide palette of sustained tone melodies. The performer moves around the stage and looks for the variety of sounds hidden within the different parts of the venue, and creates a diverse sonic ecosystem while focusing on the relations between space, choreography and sound.

Leah Plave & Tiziano Teodori, with Sarah Atzori
Cellist Leah Plave and sound artist Tiziano Teodori present a performance of collaborative improvisation. Through this effort they explore the sonic depths of the violoncello through live sampling, layering, and minimalistic pulses. Tiziano creates a synthesised string quartet that accompanies and extends Leahâs playing, creating a synergetic duo performance.
For their performance at In Bloom, Leah and Tizianoâs performance will be further accompanied by the visual art of Sarah Atzori, who will be painting alongside the music.

PANIC SCREEN - Guillermo Almo MartĂn Viana (drums, visuals) Nikos Charambolous, (guitar, electronics, )
âPanic Screenâ combines drums, percussion, guitar, electronics and video, which blend in an effort of creating a variety of ââmoodsââ, a diversity of sonic ways of being. The duo, former students of jazz, are both interested in interdisciplinary art forms, and have slowly evolved to involve visuals that are audio reactive and can be projected in real time while moving towards more electronic soundscapes.
