We are excited to introduce IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wild™ to our community for the first time. A nine-foot concert grand Steinway piano is set in awe-inspiring landscapes including parks, ranches, botanical gardens, museums and farms instead of the traditional concert hall. The audience is encouraged to wander and explore the surrounding environment while listening to the music through wireless headphones. This amazing program will be at the Tulare County Museum on Sunday, September 15th. This event is a joint fundraiser for the Mineral King Preservation Society and the Tulare County Museum.
Tickets are $40.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Please bring chairs or blankets to sit.
3:00 - 4:00 PM - Registration Table Opens - get checked in, receive your headphones and find some food and a place to sit.
4:00 - 5:30 - Concert - wander the grounds, explore the Museum exhibits, sit or lay close to the piano, experience "Classical music in the wild"!
