Looking to add some flavour to your Bachata? Do you want to learn to be a good social dancer?
Do you feel confident in your bachata basic steps?
If so, this course is for you.
As this is an improver level course, it is not suitable for those new to Bachata or those who have not danced Bachata before.
These classes are rotational, so you do not need to bring a partner.
Dates: Tuesday evenings 1st July to 19th August
Time: 7.30-8.30 pm
Venue: St James Church, 82 Nixon St, Hamilton East
What to expect: 1 hour class.
These classes will build on and extend the basic steps of Bachata with the purpose of extending your social dancing repertoire.
Musicality will be incorporated through lead and follow styling, timing changes, and various stylistic influences.
This course is progressive; each week builds on the week before.
What to wear: Please wear clothes you can move easily in.
Please wear shoes that fit well, you can balance well in, and that have little grip. ie NOT sneakers, boots, stilettos, or wedges.
Guys, please, no black soled street shoes as they mark the church floor. Ladies, please remember your heel caps.
Dance shoes are recommended!

We also have a few pairs of second-hand shoes, for ladies and guys, for sale!
What to bring: A water bottle and a warm layer for after class.
Cost: $10 per person per class. Or by a concession card and SAVE!
8 x classes = $60
16 x classes = $110
24 x classes = $150
Payment can be made on the day of attendance via cash or bank transfer.
Parking: On-street parking only.
