About this Event
These workshops are for people who love jumping into the unknown with nothing but instinct, a half-formed idea, and maybe a weird voice...
Or for anyone who wants to get better at saying “yes” to whatever weird curveball life throws at them. And then doing the “and” part...
Each session is a standalone deep dive into a different part of improv — characters, scenes, games, brain-melting group stuff, or just saying both “yes” and “and.” Come to one. Come to five. Come to all of them and achieve full chaotic enlightenment.
No experience needed. Just show up, stay present, and maybe bring a water bottle. Because it turns out that you can practice making stuff up.
This workshop will focus on Tag Outs!
Tagging out your teammates is one of hte most effective tools in an improviser's arsenal for adding context to your set, developing a character, or playing a game. This workshop zeroes in on what makes a tag effective, and how to use tags to find fun in any situation.
