If you've ever been watching a movie and major new characters or plot elements get introduced in the last half of the runtime you might find yourself saying "that came out of nowhere!"The writers were probably unfamiliar with the concept of the "Story Diamond." The "Story Diamond" is a tool used to understand building and resolving plots and it is as applicable to improv as it is to scripted works.
In this workshop we'll practice building stories, recognizing when we have all the elements necessary, and how to utilize the pieces of the puzzle to tell a complete story with a recognizable beginning, middle, and end.
Newcomers of all experience levels are welcome!
Please arrive on time out of respect for the other attendees and teacher.
