Have you ever avoided showing certain emotions in an Improv performance? Were you afraid that the audience wouldn't appreciate it? Did you think one of your fellow performers would tag you out or cut your scene because it wasn't getting laughs? Don't people go to shows for comedy!?!
In this workshop we'll focus on feeling our emotions freely in Improv and expressing them with confidence.
We'll do scenes and whenever we have the choice between making something funny or making it interesting, we'll take the interesting route.
This workshop will be at a private residence so please show up on time so the host doesn't have to leave the workshop to let latecomers into the building.
This workshop is suitable for people of all levels and focuses on Long Form, narrative improv. In this type of improv we don't focus on making the audience laugh, we just trust that it will happen anyway (and it does!)
Please arrive on time out of respect for the other attendees and teacher.
Price: 200 CZK
I'm holding some spots open for people who are not able to pay. Please contact me directly to see if they are available.
As with all of my events I am committed to this being an environment that is welcoming to people of all ethnic, racial, national, sexual, and gender identities and I hope for the support of all attendees in creating that space of acceptance.
