Improv Masterclass with Jake Mouchawar
Bring the magic that is improvisation training into your life with this exciting opportunity from Jake Mouchawar Coaching! Join Jake Mouchawar as he brings his 10+ years of improv and 8+ years teaching experience to guide you through this two-hour masterclass. A great class for both beginners and advanced performers, tackling both short-form and monoscene improv through fun exercises and technique work.
ABOUT JAKE:
Jake Mouchawar is an award-winning performer, director, puppeteer, and theater educator from Thousand Oaks, CA. He graduated magna cum laude with a BFA in Theatre Education & Performance from Emerson College in Boston, where he was awarded the 2022 Excellence in Theatre Education award. He has also studied with the American Musical & Dramatic Academy, Black Acting Methods Studio (virtual), and Boston University. While in Massachusetts, Jake became well-regarded for both his Boston-based acting and improv workshops as well as his time as the Artist-in-Residence for Hill House Inc. in 2022 & 2023. He also worked at Weston High School and was the first ever Drama teacher for the Madeline English School in Everett, MA. Notable directing credits include Mr. Burns: a post-electric play (Full Fathom), Into the Woods (T.CO) and Chicago (T.CO). Notable performing credits include Little Peasants (Food Tank), American Idiot (MTS), The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (EmStage), She Kills Monsters (Kidding Around), and Spring Awakening (Bella Vita Productions). He currently serves as the Education Associate for the Chance Theater in Anaheim Hills and is the Founder of JAKE MOUCHAWAR COACHING, a private acting and audition coaching practice serving all ages and skill levels throughout Orange County and Los Angeles.
