Improv Level 1: Intro to Improv (Q1-Sat)

ABOUT
This introductory class will teach you the basics of improv with a positive, safe, and nurturing approach. You and your fellow classmates will gain confidence and begin to support one another throughout the course. Prior improv experience is NOT required! The course will be taught by Hannah Romes, a founding member of Hashtag Comedy, comedian and improviser with over 8 years experience performing improv throughout the city.

The course meets on Saturday afternoons for a total of six class sessions. Classes will take place in our Hashtag Comedy Club (1253 N. High Street).

Students will perform in an improv showcase after the classes are completed. The showcase for this course will take place in our Hashtag Comedy Club (1253 N. High Street) at a date to be determined.

In addition to classes and a showcase, students will also receive a complimentary ticket to a Hashtag Comedy improv show.

Saturday February 22 at 1:30-3:30pm

Saturday March 1 at 1:30-3:30pm

Saturday March 8 at 1:30-3:30pm

Satuday March 15 at 1:30-3:30pm

Saturday March 22 at 1:30-3:30pm

Saturday March 29 at 1:30-3:30pm

A student showcase to share what the students have learned with family and friends will occur at 7pm on Sunday, April 6.
IMPORTANT INFO

• Please enroll at least a week before the class begins. Courses that do not meet the instructor-set course minimum by the week before the start date may be at risk of cancellation. Please email our Director of Curriculum if you intend to enroll but cannot until the days before the course begins.
• If the course is cancelled, tuition will be refunded.
• Students must attend at least 4 of the 6 classes in order to perform in the showcase and graduate from this level.
