Improv Explorers - Youth Conservatory - Sundays

Its happening, Improv for youth is coming to Nanaimo! Sign up your youth for our 6 week Improv Explorers program! Improv is an awesome way to have your young adult learn how to speak in public, think quicker, make friends, and build confidence.
Each Sunday we will learn theatre games that teach spacial awareness, A to C thinking and discipline through listening and teamwork. If your teen is looking to be a performer in the future this is the perfect way to start. Improv is utilized in All forms of performance including acting, comedy, music and even more.
Our highly trained Improv coach will take your young Improviser from basics to performance through six 1.5 hour classes. Heres how the program looks:
Week 1-2: Improv Fundamentals, team work skills, listening
Week 3-4: Acting training, Comedy Do’s and Don’ts, Scene work
Week 5-6: Review and practice, and our final class will be a chance for the parents and guardians to sit in and watch the students perform some scenes!
