Calling improvisers, theatre kids and actors!
At this audition we will be looking for some newcomers to join our improv ensemble.
We currently have about 30-40 people in our ensemble. And once you've joined, you can participate in our shows, such as the Improv Comedy Cagefight or our live gameshows whenver you like.
There is no cost to join our ensemble and there is no minimum commitment! The ensemble is run by improvisers, for improvisers.
Our improviser ensemble is for those who have done at least six months of acting or improv. You'll team up with our cast for a series of live shows in Newtown and Surry Hills.
If you don't have improv experience but you're interested in joining us, then we recommend you do one of our classes and get involved with our student community.
The audition is chilled - no need to prep! Just come along with your best vibes.

ABOUT US:
- The Improv Comedy Cagefight is Sydney's longest weekly improv show. We get massive crowds and it's a tonne of fun.
- The Cagefight is a Sydney Comedy School Production. We have events in all the comedy festivals across Australia, which we open to our performers.
- Our other shows include the Sydney Stand-Up Comedy Cagefight, Future Science Talks: Comedy Edition, and True or False: The Science Comedy Gameshow.
- The Sydney Comedy School will have more shows and activities opening throughout 2024/25.
