Finding the comedy in both long-form and short-form scenes is about working closely as a team and trusting each other to go wherever the comedy takes you. Key to being able to do this is having confidence in yourself and your ideas, as well as being able to communicate those ideas through strong defined characters. You also need to be able to build on your teammates’ ideas and offers, as well as being ready to support at all times. All good stories are reliant on strong characters, and in this course we will focus on giving you the tools and confidence to create strong comedic characters that will elevate your scenes in whatever style of improv you are doing.All our summer courses run for 4 days with 1 class/weekday lasting 5 hours.
The course includes:
