This six-week class will help you become a better listener and embrace spontaneity through games and exercises in a supportive environment. No acting or comedy experience is required, just an open mind and the desire to add laughter to your life. Class meets on six consecutive Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. with a class show on March 4.Improv can help you gain confidence and connect better with people, especially in unexpected situations. You will learn how to collaborate as part of a team, develop new characters and re-discover the joy of play. Whether you dream of performing on stage or just want to improve your communication skills, this is the class for you.
Veteran improviser Brian Shea will teach the class. He has previously taught in Hanover, Baltimore and Lancaster. In 2020, he co-founded Highwire Improv in Baltimore.
