About this Event
Learn the core concepts of longform comedic improv. Students will cover scene-work mechanics like editing, tag-outs and heightening in the context of game of the scene. Over this seven-week period, we'll build the groundwork for comedic moves that will elevate your scenes.Classes every Tuesday, August 19th - September 30th from 7:00-9:30pm.
The course will culminate in a student show on Saturday, October 4th at 4:30pm.

CLASS REQUIREMENTS:
- Students are required to attend 2 improv shows at Mettlesome during the course (students get into shows for free)
- Students are allowed a maximum of 2 absences per course.

INSTRUCTOR: April Dudash has been an improvisor since her junior year at the University of Florida. She has participated in long-form, short-form and musical improv as well as sketch comedy. April has performed with teams in Fayetteville, Raleigh and Durham, coached teams, and hosted and produced "Late Nite Tonite with April Dudash," a late-night talk show with live and filmed sketches. She is currently a performer with Mettlesome's "Golden Age."
