Create rich and successful two-person scenes, the foundation of longform improv
About this Event
Emotional reactions are the bedrock of improv. In our second level, you will strengthen the skills you built in our Intro class and focus on creating sustainable scenes based on patterns of emotional behavior that inform Characters and Relationships.
Great if you want to dig deeper into improv or if you need to interact with other humans in your day-to-day life.
Prerequisites: Intro to Improv. Email [email protected] if you have any questions.
Dates: This class runs Sundays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, starting March 23rd and running for 8 weeks. A showcase will be scheduled as an additional opportunity on an evening during the week of March 9th.
Instructor: Gretchen Glaeser
Gretchen has been making stuff up at Coalition Theater since 2016. She loves helping performers find their confidence on stage with honest feedback and practical tips. When not at the theater, shes probably busy taking a mental health walk around Richmond, attempting yoga, or zoning out in front of the TV. She currently performs every second Saturday of the month with her pals, The Movies.
COST: $250 (Early Bird $220)
