Dates: This class runs Mondays from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, starting March 24th and running for 8 weeks. A showcase will be scheduled as an additional opportunity on an evening during the week of May 18th.
Instructor: Dee Demetriadis
Dee has been doing improv comedy since childhood, but didn’t know it until she began taking classes with the Coalition in 2013. Since then, her credits include being a member of the house team Ambassador, a writer/performer/videographer/production assistant for sketch shows RVA Tonight with Beau Cribbs and Outburst!, and a cast member for the short form games show Short, Fast, and Furious. For the last 5 years, Dee has also been a member of Oozebear, an audio-only improv collective that has allowed her to do improv with people from all over the world. What a world! She currently runs a monthly improv games program for teens at a local library and has no plans to move to New York or Chicago.
