ANNELIE KONING / DODÓ KIS / MARY OLIVER
DODÓ KIS
Dodó Kis is a Hungarian recorder and EWI player, composer and improviser with a soft spot for theater and electronics. She is a free-spirited player who finds her space in a variety of genres and styles, from folk-jazz to alternative funk-rock, from early music to free improvisation.
Next to her mission to emancipate the recorder in the field of improvised music, Dodó is also curator of the genre-bending concert series the Nebular Sessions, and is on the board of directors at the BIM organization.
Dodó performed both as a soloist and as a performer with various projects at stages and festivals across Europe, in the USA and Canada.

ANNELIE KONING
Vocalist Annelie Koning (1992) studied at ArtEZ conservatoire in Arnhem, Bachelor Jazz & Pop vocals and received a degree in 2017. She currently lives in Amsterdam.
Using the voice as an instrument that can make all kinds of sounds, improvisation is the starting point from which she works. As a vocalist and composer words became essential as a tool for making sound and telling a story. But sounds and words are the same, and as important to her.
In 2019 she formed trio BLIK together with Luc Ex on acoustic bass and Tristan Renfrow on drums. She also formed the collective King Sisters with her sisters Marthe and Joske Koning. Besides these & other projects Koning developed herself as a solo voice-improviser and with this she performs on location, mostly in combination with other disciplines.

MARY OLIVER

She is a member of the renown ICP Orchestra and has worked alongside improvising musicians such as Han Bennink, Mark Dresser, Cor Fuhler, Misha Mengelberg, Evan Parker, and many others.
