Join artist Simon Addyman September 20th, 1-4pm, for a 3hr workshop. From charcoal to finished paintingIn this workshop Simon will cover composition with charcoal, developing a structure, lost and found edges, painting darks and shadows, reconstruction with line and releasing your color.
In this workshop we will be using a limited oil color palette along with odorless paint thinner from Gamsol. All materials will be included along with an 11"x14" canvas board.
All painting levels welcome.

Impessionist Painting
Simon is known for his expressive landscape and still Life paintings. His diverse works and special commissions can be found in numerous European and American collections. Simon’s versatility is evident, yet his distinctive artistic style is consistently woven into the images he creates, a quality that is difficult to achieve and much cherished by his collectors. Simon is an active artist member of the California Art Club and the American Impressionist Society.
