• Ankur has more than 18 years’ experience in the compliance and consultancy space spanning across industries in areas of Indirect taxes including VAT
• He has over 14 years of experience in indirect taxation with the Big 4 accountancy firms
• He worked with the team that assisted the State Governments in India in drafting of VAT laws and regulations
• He handled four waves of indirect tax changes:
1) from General Sales Tax to VAT between years 2002-2006 in India;
2) during introduction of GST in India in the year 2017;
3) during introduction of VAT in the UAE; and
4) during introduction of VAT in Bahrain and Oman
• He led teams in conducting indirect tax diagnostic review of various multinational companies
