Join the Zonta Club of Birmingham for our first meeting of 2026, focused on The Importance of Sexual Assault Advocacy. January is also Human Trafficking Awareness Month, making this discussion especially timely and aligned with Zonta’s ongoing advocacy efforts.
Our guest speaker will be Leen Murad, Rape Response Program Coordinator at the Crisis Center of Central Alabama. Murad brings more than five years of experience in sexual crisis response and over 11 years of administrative experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, is a Certified Mental Health Technician (MHT), and also holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration. Her work centers on survivor support, advocacy, and community education.
This meeting offers an opportunity to learn, connect, and engage in meaningful conversation around advocacy and action.
