About this Event
mujo is a transformative program
designed by artist and researcher christiane peschek to illuminate the inherent impermanence of life and reveal the unique essence within each individual. rooted in the tradition of death meditation, mujo combines biography work, silence, and restorative rituals into a contemplative journey.
more than a retreat, mujo offers a rare opportunity to explore the nature of existence, relationships, and time. it invites a shift in consciousness, providing space to reflect on life’s transience in an intimate and transformative way.
for those looking to explore
the mujo technique or those curious to engage with their own mortality in a gentle, reflective way, moon room offers a 5 hours intensive workshop retreat.
In this session, we introduce the mujo philosophy and invite participants to reflect on the circle of life and the interdependence of life and death. The workshop builds around impermanence meditations and reflection techniques, followed by small rituals designed to help participants connect more deeply with their personal histories.
These practices provide time and space for each individual to acknowledge their own mortality, allowing room for the emotions and insights that arise in the process. The workshop is not about morbid concepts, instead it's a life-inviting practice designed for those looking for profound meaning.
