Impermanence, Adaptability and the Potential of Contextual Architecture

We are pleased to announce the launch of public programming for SAT02 with Impermanence, Adaptability, and the Potential of Contextual Architecture. 

This conversation between SAT02 Curator Tosin Oshinowo and SAT President Hoor Al-Qasimi provides an inside view into the development of the second edition of the Sharjah Architecture Triennial and explores its theme as it comes into focus. 

Centered on an investigation of design solutions built from conditions of scarcity that illuminate a pathway forward to reorient our conversation on sustainability, the 2023 edition of the Triennial prioritizes contextual solutions, resource sharing, and waste re-use. Oshinowo will also introduce an initial selection of participants for The Beauty of Impermanence: An Architecture of Adaptability.

All SAT events are free and open to the public but advance registration is required and capacity is limited.
