The IMPACT Fund and PitchFeast are collaborating to host two “IMPACT Central Indiana PitchFeast powered by First Internet Bank” pitch events.
During each event, 10 entrepreneurs will get the opportunity to showcase their business or startup to a group of investors and compete for a chance to receive startup capital that will help the business grow.
These investments are being awarded in the form of low-interest loans, and in the amount(s) of $25,000 for the first prize, $15,000 for the second prize, and $10,000 for the third prize. There will also be a fourth prize of $5,000 given to the “audience’s choice.”
Each participant, who must identify as a Brown or Black entrepreneur and live in Central Indiana, will be given five minutes to pitch their business to a group of investors and a live audience. In addition to receiving business startup capital, participants will be provided with other wrap-around services aimed at supporting the entrepreneur.
The goal of the IMPACT Fund and PitchFeast collaboration is to create an investment pipeline for Brown and Black entrepreneurs, who are normally overlooked when it comes to receiving business startup capital.
