About the Instructor:
Adam S. Brooks is an education leader and technologist with experience in corporate training management, higher education leadership, learning experience (LX) and instructional design (ID), eLearning and ed-tech, new media communications and marketing, systems engineering and technology management.
Adam has served in progressive roles as a training Manager of Instructional Technology for an upscale retailer, Principal Instructional Designer of healthcare I.T. and EMR systems, the Director of Communications for a large college and PBS affiliate television station, a corporate trainer and academic educator, and an eLearning developer and Learning Management Systems (LMS) administrator. With more than twenty years of experience producing award-winning initiatives, he is honed as a change agent who builds high performing teams and seeks to apply applicable emerging trends with industry best practices to support organizational goals.
A passionate "positive deviant" and entrepreneur who is excited to share his enthusiasm, Adam is a frequent guest speaker and contributor. Adam has also founded and hosted a number of community events highlighting innovation and startups including “THE Geek Fest,” “BarCamp Charlotte,” and “EdCamp Charlotte.”
