In this workshop, we will be expanding our physical toolkit through character, movement, clown, and scenic composition. All bodies are welcome!
Bring a water bottle, a snack, comfortable clothes, and something to write with!
Workshop spots are limited to 12 people for the purposes of a more focused learning experience. This workshop encourages the curious exploration of our physical space, both internal and external, and can sometimes be an emotional experience. Please take care of your physical and emotional well-being as you participate. There is zero tolerance for harassment or discrimination.

About the instructor: Ciarán Volke (he/they) has been improvising for over a decade, and has played with companies such as the Loose Moose Theatre, the Canmore Improv Festival, Paper Street Improv, and Ok Dope.
He is the co-founder of the award winning improv comedy duo COWBOY, and regularly writes, directs, and performs in many other projects. He has taught improv and devised theatre through the CAST Program, Oak Bay Recreation, and Theatre SKAM, and coached Vikes Improv for three years.
He also holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Victoria.
