In this workshop you will create a small copper bonsai tree in a mindful and creative process that you will be able to replicate at home.You'll explore ideas and designs guided by Joe, who will help you to select the materials and create your piece. You will come away with your own personal immortal bonsai to take home with you.
Fee includes all materials and coffee on arrival. Workshops are based in our Garden Studio. Take time after the workshop to relax and explore the arts centre and wildlife garden, learn about the Florence Mine site and enjoy our Fair-trade coffee and teas.

Joe is a young blacksmith from Bootle who had just completed 6 years of training, including at the National School of Blacksmithing in Hereford. He is inspired by natural forms and experiences, and you can find out more about his work at www.forgedathome.co.uk
Suitable for adults or those aged 10+ if accompanied by an adult. You'll need reasonable mobility in your hands. Our centre is wheelchair accessible with parking on site, ramped access to the studio door and level throughout. We have an Access toilet.
