About this Event

In this workshop you’ll learn techniques for creating immersive playspaces for participatory performance experiences. This session will include tips to increase audience engagement from the time the show is announced til the curtain drops, but also tools to develop shows that empower audiences to explore their own agency.
Stagecraft will create a space for young women and gender expansive folks to build their voice and confidence through the art of staged performance. Stagecraft, will be available to performers practicing any performance art centered around voice whether it’s music, theater, or spoken word poetry. By completing the Stagecraft program, participants will have skills to continue working in performing arts while also gaining skills that will translate into any kind of public presentation; how to work a room, how to make a pitch, etc. https://www.stagecraftpgh.com/
$10/person
No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. If $10 is not an accessible option for you, please send us an email at [email protected] to RSVP for this workshop. You will not be asked to explain your financial situation.
