About this Event
For peace and unity for ourselves and for the world, an immersive sound meditation with a variety of gentle, soothing instruments from the hearts and hands of trained, experienced sound practitioners.
A beautiful sanctuary of sound to provide you with an oasis of peace and relaxation, inspiration and community of heart-centered people. Founding Director and Senior Practitioner Lana Ryder brings 25 years' experience in the study and service of sound and multiple instruments. Other participating practitioners in this event such as Assistant Director Ken Ebert are graduates of the sound school and all have their own practices. Most of us are trained musicians or have a music background.
If you choose to lie down we have yoga mats, cushions and blankets available. There are several seats available for those who are more comfortable sitting. Free eye masks are available. If you prefer, you may bring your own items.
Meditations are limited to the first 16 registered participants so there is comfortable personal space between everyone and so that practitioners can move freely around the room with a few instruments. But please understand we will not overwhelm your nervous system with too many instruments or sounds that are played too loud, too long or startling. We are all trauma-informed practitioners as well.
Please arrive ahead of the start time so you can settle in and be ready to go at 6:30. The main outside entrance into the building is locked at 6:25. No one can be admitted after that time. Plenty of free parking in the large lot right across from the front of the Liberty Place building. We are on the second floor- you may take stairs or elevator. 313 W. Liberty St., Suite 263, in the Liberty Place building, Lancaster.
After the service, you are welcome to stay in the afterglow before heading home and enjoy a cup of tea, chat and connection with kindred souls. :)
