Immersive dinner party: collab with Waking Giants and Black Austin Tours
Join us for a unique experience in East Austin! The Wandering Dinner Party is a collaboration between Waking Giants and Black Austin Tours. Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture and history of the area while enjoying delicious food and great company. This in-person event is a fantastic way to connect with others and explore the rich tapestry of East Austin. Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind experience!
We will start with appetizers at Community Vegan, then move on to Everything Baked Potato for our entres, with desert at the historic Victory Grill. Each location is Black owned, and as we walk through East Austin during this walking dinner party, we will be guided through the historically Black neighborhoods in East Austin with a facilitator from Black Austin Tours.
Ticket prices include all of your food, drinks, and a mutual aid contribution to the US Black Chamber of Commerce.
This event is rain or shine and there will not be refunds provided as the businesses involved deserve to be paid for the work they committed to, regardless of weather.
